2025 IBTF Championships Intent to Compete/Withdraw Form

This form must be completed for all U.S. Team Athletes/Teams/Corps immediately following the selection process at the National Championships. Parents/Guardians must complete this form for any athlete younger than 21 years of age (as of July 15, 2024).

I do hereby declare that I will accompany the U.S.A. Team to the IBTF World Baton Twirling Championships and/or Nations Cup for the purpose of competing in the IBTF World Baton Twirling Championships and/or Nations Cup and representing the United States and the United States Twirling Association (USTA). Furthermore, I will abide by all of the rules, regulations, and procedures set forth by the USTA and the World Baton Twirling Federation (WBTF) / International Baton Twirling Federation (IBTF) and agents thereof.
I hereby declare that I will NOT COMPETE in the IBTF World Baton Twirling Championships and/or Nations Cup. I fully understand that with this declaration, I am released of any and all responsibilities and privileges of being a member of the IBTF World Baton Twirling Championships and/or Nations Cup. I also understand that upon signing this declaration, I cannot accompany the U.S. Team to the IBTF World Baton Twirling Championships and/or Nations Cup as a competing member. Furthermore, I understand that the United States Twirling Association (USTA), and the agents thereof, are hereby absolved of all responsibilities regarding my inclusion as a member of the U.S. Team. By declaring my intent to withdraw, I understand that I relinquish my position. In the event that I change my mind and wish to compete, USTA is under absolutely no obligation to reinstate me as a U.S. Team Member.
1. Waiver of Liability: I agree to assume the risk of any injury that may happen to me (or my child) as a result of participation in these WBTF and/or IBTF Championships. I further agree to indemnify and hold the WBTF, IBTF, USTA, and its agents or employees harmless from any loss they may sustain as a result of injury to me (or my child) as a result of participation in these WBTF and/or IBTF Championships.

I have received and read the responsibilities enumerated in the following documents and, as a condition for USTA's acceptance of my (or my child’s) entry in these WBTF and/or IBTF Championships, I agree to adhere to and abide by each of the duties and payment deadlines that are set forth in these documents:

All participating athletes must sign this form. Participating athletes 20 years old and younger must have parental permission. Athletes who are 21 years old and older as of July 15, 2024 must sign. Parent/Legal Guardian of athletes who are younger than 20 years old as of July 15, 2024 must sign.

I acknowledge and support my son/daughter's decision to withdraw from the 2025 IBTF World Baton Twirling Championships and/or Nations Cup. Furthermore, I hereby absolve the United States Twirling Association, World Baton Twirling Federation, International Baton Twirling Federation, and agents thereof, of any and all responsibilities for my son/daughter concerning the trip to the WBTF World Championships.
