THREAD PREFERENCE: My design preference is to match the thread to your quilt so that they blend and create texture. I'll ask you to approve the thread colour by email before quilting.*

QUILT COMPONENTS - TOP, BACKING, AND BATTING

I offer batting at reasonable prices. To finish your quilt I'll need your quilt top, backing fabric, and batting if you're supplying it.

BACKING FABRIC: In order to give you the best results possible, please ensure that your backing fabric is at least 8" wider and 8" longer than your quilt top. This ensures 4" of margin on each side. Your backing can be larger but not smaller.*

I acknowledge that my backing fabric meets the minimum size requirement for my quilt top.

BATTING PREFERENCE: Most of the batting I stock is on an 86" - 96" roll. I only use what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 8" margin) and charge per linear inch. For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 68" inches of the batting of your choice. Any leftovers will be returned to you.*

100 % Cotton - Warm and Natural - 0.51 cents per linear inch. (Low loft)90% Wool / 10% Poly - 0.29 cents per linear inch. (Medium loft)50% Wool / 50% Cotton - 0.55 cents per linear Inch - (Low loft)I will provide my own high-quality batting and it is 8" larger than my quilt top.
