PhotoMidwest is now accepting entries for inclusion in the 2024 member exhibition at the University of Wisconin Pyle Center, For the Love of Light. You may submit up to three images of your choice. Your image(s) require the entry form below to be completed. The deadline for entries is midnight, August 24, 2024.
This is an open exhibition with no jury. We expect there will be wall space for about 90 framed images. If more entries are received than there is space, one entry will first be accepted from each entrant. If there is still space, second entries from each entrant will be accepted, and after that third entries until the space is filled. A lottery process will be used if needed to select images.
Before sending your image, please take the time to prepare your digital files to meet these requirements so we can maintain the high quality of the exhibition:
- Images must be submitted in JPEG format (.jpg, .jpeg)
- Submitted images must be between 2000 - 2500 pixels on the long edge of the image and in sRGB color space
- Image file size must be less than 2.5 MB (2560 KB)
- The file name for your images MUST be formatted exactly like this example:
- Artist Name_Image Title_Priority.jpg
- Notice that there are 3 fields seperated by an underscore _
- Artist Name = your name; spaces are OK but no underscore _
- Image Title = multiple words, dashes, or commas are ok but no underscore
- Priority = 1, 2, or 3. Tells us which images to use if space is limited
Example: Robin Downs_My Pretty Pony_1.jpg
- To keep a consistent look for the virtual (online) gallery, we ask that you do not include any watermarks, frames and/or borders on your image files
