Get Downtown Cajun Crawl - Cook Off Rules
1. Eligibility:
○ All participants must register by September 25, 2024.
○ Teams may consist of up to 4 members.
2. Setup and Cleanup:
○ Setup can begin at 10:00 AM on October 4, 2024.
○ All cooking stations must be ready by 4:00 PM.
○ Cleanup must be completed by 9:00 PM.
3. Cooking Regulations:
○ Dishes must be prepared on site.
○ Each team must prepare a minimum of 4 gallons of their dish for judge tasting
and ticket sales.
4. Health and Safety:
○ All teams must follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures and AR
Dept of Health Rules. You must print and display a copy of your ingredients.
○ Teams are responsible for providing their own cooking equipment and utensils.
○ Handwashing stations will be provided on-site.
5. Judging:
○ Judging will begin at 5:30 PM.
○ Dishes will be judged on taste, presentation, and originality.
○ Judges' decisions are final.
6. Conduct:
○ All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and
sportsmanlike manner.
○ No illegal substances are allowed on-site.
7. Prizes:
○ Prizes will be awarded for 1st place in each dish category ($100 Cash Prize), and
an overall Cajun Crawl Champion ($500 Cash Prize) and Fan Favorite ($150
Cash Prize).
○ Each registered team will receive 2 Limited Edition Cajun Crawl T-Shirts.
○ Winners will be announced at 6:00 PM.
8. Liability:
○ The event organizers are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur
during the event.
○ Participants assume all risks associated with participation in the cook off.
