Material Institute Recording Session Sign-up – Project
We provide a studio; equipment; and recording, mixing, and mastering engineers to create projects. Session musicians and/or beats are the responsibility of the artist.
Once this form is submitted, the Studio Manager will connect you with the Recording Engineer to create session plans before scheduling.
Full projects are limited to 10 tracks.
Artists must wait one year before signing up to record another full project if one has already been recorded at Material Institute.
Sessions will be scheduled on weekday evenings or Saturday.
Minors must attend their session with a parent or guardian.

If you are recording with backing tracks, stems (individual audio files for each instrument track) are required. Do you have stems for your songs? We do not provide beats or produce beats in-session.
Attach tracks (up to 3) of professional recordings with a sound that you'd like to reference for this project. This will help your engineer make creative choices regarding studio tools and equipment with you.
