  • CFF Fleece/roving/Roving Sale 2026 

    Please note: There will be no fleece/roving competition this year.

    1.   A handling fee will be charged for each fleece/roving/roving: $5.00 per fleece/roving/roving if registered online by March 7, 2026.  Fleece/roving/roving registered between March 8-13, 2026, will be charged a handling fee of $8/fleece/roving/roving. The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid at time of registration. 

    2.   Online Registration will cease operation at 11:59 pm March 11, 2026. Beginning March 12, registration must occur onsite and increased fee of $8/fleece/roving will apply.

    3.   The number of fleeces/rovings entered is limited to 15 per person/farm.

    4.   Fleece/roving may be delivered Thursday March 12, 2026, from 2 pm until 6:00 pm or Friday March 13, 2026, from 8 am to 9:30 am. No fleece/roving will be accepted after 9:30 am on Friday, March 13.

    5.   The fleece/roving sale hours are 10 am - 6 pm on Friday March 13, and 9 am - 5 pm on Saturday March 14, 2026.

    6.   Fleece/roving must be in clear plastic bags that can be easily opened. No ties or knots.

    7.   Each fleece/roving must be marked with 2  individual fleece/roving tags indicating farm information, washed or unwashed status, and other related information. After completing an Individual Fleece/Roving Tag for each fleece/roving, you will receive an email that allows you to print the 2 tags to accompany each fleece/roving.

    8.   Entrants may place promotional materials in with a fleece/roving and are encouraged to do so.

    9.   Fleece should be skirted to remove manure tags, and be free of excessive vegetable matter, second cuts, and pests. We reserve the right to reject any fleece deemed unsuitable for processing as presented.

    10.Each bag of roving must weigh a minimum of 1 lb. Smaller amounts will not be accepted.

    11.Please make copies of your paperwork to help you remember what you brought.

    12.Fleece/roving bags will be left open for display.

    13.Fleece/roving must be picked up from 3-5 pm on Saturday March 14, 2026. Any fleece/roving left after that time become the property of Carolina FiberFest. 

    14.Carolina FiberFest is not responsible for lost, missing or damaged fleece/roving.

    15.Money collected for fleece/roving sales will be paid by check and mailed to the consigner within three weeks after the festival ends.
