2024 Nomination Deadline - October 31st 5:00pm
The goal of the Rookie of the Year awards is to recognize one solo SIRA member and one team/group SIRA member who are new to the REALTOR industry in 2023 and have demonstrated outstanding achievement.
- The awards will be presented at the Southern Indiana Realtors Association awards ceremony in December. Applicants must be present at awards ceremony to win.
- Winners of this year’s awards will be announced the night of the ceremony.
- Applications must be received no later than 5:00pm on October 31st 2024. This is a hard date, anything received after that date will not be considered.
Award Eligibility & Requirements:
1. Applicants must be new to the industry and have never been licensed in real estate; in any state.
2. Applicant must have earned their real estate license with SIRA in 2023.
3. Applicant must currently be an active primary member of SIRA. Secondary members are not eligible.
4. Members may self-nominate or may by nominated by their managing broker.
5. This award period runs from January 1, 2024 - September 30, 2024.
6. Due to the timing of the awards ceremony, volume standards for this award period are calculated without 2023 fourth-quarter closings.
7. Only SIRA statistics and SIRA sales will be considered.
8. Only sales within SIRA’s territorial jurisdiction as listed in the SIRA Bylaws will be considered. These Indiana counties are Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Orange, and Scott.
Solo Applicants:
1. Must have been a solo agent for the majority of the award period.
2. Must demonstrate a minimum volume of eight sides or $1.5 million closed between January 1, 2024 - September 30, 2024.
3. Any sales done while under a team will not be considered.
Team/Group Applicants:
1. Must have been a team/group agent for the majority of the awards period.
2. Must demonstrate a minimum volume of 16 sides or $2.5 million closed between January 1, 2024 - September 30, 2024.
3. Any sales done individually will not be considered.
