10,000 Carrots Rabbit Rescue Adoption Application
Adoption fee: $60.00 each or $100 for a bonded pair.

This fee is due at the time of adoption and is non-refundable. Adoption fees go directly into the spay / neuter account and are considered a donation to the rescue.

If you adopt a rabbit and for any reason you cannot keep them, we do take the rabbit back into the rescue as soon as we are able.

Please note: We ask the following questions so that we can match you with a rabbit that will fit with your family. Our goal is to make sure that everyone - including your current pets and family members - are happy with the addition of the rabbit you have chosen.

How many hours a day will the rabbit be free to be free from it's pen? Where will this happen? Rabbits need to exercise and cannot spend all their time in their pen.
The most important part of a rabbit's diet is hay. Is there anyone in your family allergic to hay?
Under what circumstances would you return this animal? (moving, cost, new baby, behaviour, medical issues, not enough time for them). Please tell us about any behaviours you could not accept from a rabbit.
Do you anticipate moving in the near future? If so, do you plan to take this rabbit with you?
Who will be the primary caregiver for the rabbit? Who will care for them when the primary caregiver is away?
Have you given away a pet, or surrendered them to a rescue or animal shelter?
Have you hand an animal euthanized?

By Submitting this application I am acknowledging that I want to adopt a rabbit from 10,000 Carrots Rabbit Rescue, and I UNDERSTAND and AGREE to ALL of the following policies of 10,000 Carrots Rabbit Rescue:
- To provide proper and adequite food, water, shelter, exercise, Kind treatment and a nuturing and loving environment to the adopted animal at all times.
- To provide vererinary care to the adopted animal to prevent and cure illness and injury.
- The animal will NOT be used for food, experimental purposes or subjected to unlawful activities.
- If for any reason I cannot keep the adopted animal, I must contact 10,000 Carrots Rabbit Rescue to take the rabbit back as soon as there is room available to find the rabbit a new home. I realize that it may take some time as the rescue is quite busy.
- To allow a 10,000 Carrots Rabbit Rescue representative to examine the adopted animal and living conditions and return the adopted animal to 10,000 Carrots Rabbit Rescue if the representative feels the conditions are unsatisfactory, or I have not complied with any terms of the animal Adoption Contract.
- 10,000 Carrots Rabbit Rescue is in NO WAY responsible for any damages the animal may cause to any person or property and no attempt will be made to hold the rescue responsible.
- The adoption fee I have paid is non-refundable.
