Guidelines & Submission Rules

Thank you for your interest in submitting your media / articles to the St. Augustine Marina Inc. blog page! We are looking forward to seeing what you have experienced or the knowledge you have to share! We are looking for photos, video clips, and personal accounts, How To, or tutorials for our blog to fill our Community Showcase page (which is lacking at the moment). Anything you share with us MUST be yours to share and your property - you may not submit anything that you do not own exclusive rights to.

There are some guidelines we have to set forth in order to keep everything submitted on topic and to ensure you get your media / article published. The following applies to videos and photos.

NO Profanity, explicit content, nudity, competitor products or logos, unidentified persons, licensed media / third party licensed media.

All submissions MUST be your own and may not have been published anywhere else prior to submission.

All persons in photos or videos must be identified in some way by either first name / nickname, first name and last initial, first and last name, or initials.

Media that contains minors must be submitted with parent or guardian consent from all parents of children involved. Unidentified minors or persons will have their faces blurred if published.

We will only edit images if they violate our guidelines. All submissions may be removed upon user request by emailing admin@staugmarinainc.com including your email you used for submission, name, and a brief desc. of media to be removed. Please allow up to 72 hours for removal and server refresh.

For Articles Only

We would love to have local / user submitted articles showcased on our blog page. Articles should be oriented around local outdoor recreation, including but not limited to fishing, hunting, etc. by any means, or local events such as tournaments, tours, tourist events, etc.
We also will accept DIY, How to, or tutorial articles related to the above mentioned items. Articles may not exceed 2500 words and must have been submitted elsewhere.
Will will not edit your article for spelling and grammar - you must do this! No profanity, political messages, rants, opinions, etc. please.

You may submit your article in .pdf, .rtf, .doc, .docx, or .txt format.

For your information, our Privacy Policy outlines how we may use published images and includes information regarding who has access to your submissions. We do not sell nor share your personal informantion. St. Augustine Marina Inc. and associates may not be held responsible for third party data regulation or storage, including but not limited to our hosting platform and web admin who are governed under their own policies.

You may submit up to 5 files of the following types, not exceeding 6MB.
All photos and videos must include at least the first name or nickname of any individuals shown from left to right for each image submitted. You may also add a caption if you want (up to 100 characters) for each image that will be shown with them.

.pdf, .jpg, .png, .jpeg, .mp4, .wav, .mov, .bmp, .doc, .rtf, .docx, .txt are accepted. Press next to get started! Thanks again!
