New Martinsville RegattaFest

The New Martinsville RegattaFest invites you to compete in their 2024 Queens Pageant. Our pageant will be held at the Historic Lincoln Theater in downtown New Martinsville in August 31st, 2024.

 
The Queens Pageant will begin at 6:30pm with doors opening at 6:00pm. Admission is $10 per person and all WVAFF visiting royalty will be admitted free of charge with their sash (no crowns).

 
This year we will have 3 age divisions- Teen, Queen, and Mrs. These three will compete in four phases of competition: interview, fun fashion, evening gown, and onstage questions.

 
Interview: 3 minute, panel style

Fun Fashion: pageant cocktails, rompers, jumpsuits, etc.

Evening Gown: Floor length

Onstage Question: 1 entry form question and 1 fishbowl

 

A schedule for the day is as follows:

12:00 (noon) Check In

12:30 Welcome

12:45-3:00 Rehearsal

4:00 Interview

6:00 Doors Open

6:30 Pageant Begins

 
All contestants will be entered into a Fan Favorite Competition. This is the opportunity we give our audience to vote for their favorite contestant as Fan Favorite Winner. Voting is 1 vote per dollar (cash only). Votes may be collected before and during our pageant. The fan favorite winner will receive a plaque and gift basket.

 
All contestants must turn in a photo for our photogenic competition. This will be judged by a separate panel of judges. A photogenic winner will be chosen for each division. Photogenic winners will receive a plaque.

 
Our 2024 RegattaFest Queens will receive a crown, sash, flowers, plaque, and gift basket. In addition, our Queen will receive her entry paid in full as well as lodging for the 2025 West Virginia Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant.

Please be sure to fill out the following entry form in its entirety as well as paypal your entry fee to arosenliebdirector@gmail.com. Entry Fees are $125 for Queen, and $100 for Teen and Mrs. All entries and payments must be made by August 17th at midnight. We do not accept late entries. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

 
Our Pageant schedule may be adjusted slightly depening on the number of contestants. A welcome letter will be sent to all contestants after out deadline with a final schedule, addresses, and other information. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message on Facebook.

I understand the enry fee is non-refundable.

I agree the age on my entry form is correct for the division I am entering. 

I agree that I am a citizen of the United States and a legal resident of West Virginia.

I agree that I have no been married nore borne a child (excluding Mrs. division contestants).

I agree to attend the RegattaFest in its entirety and all required events during the festival.

I agree to represent the RegattaFest at 4 WVAFF Preliminary Pageants of my choice as well as the New Martinsville Christmas Parade. 

I, Queen, agree to represent RegattaFest at the West Virginia Association of Fairs & Festivals Convention and Pageant.

I agree to attend the 2025 RegattaFest Pageant to crown my successor. 

I understand an official contract will be signed upon my crowning as Teen, Queen, or Mrs RegattaFest.

I hereby give the New Martinsville RegattaFest irrevocable permission to take photographs uof and/or use your photograph for publicity, new articles, or other festival purposes.

I understand if the contract is broken, I will forgeit my title and return my crown, sash, and gifts to the New Martinsville Area RegattaFest unharmed immediately. 

As a parent/ gaurdian of the contestant, you hereby consent to her participation in the New Martinsville RegattaFest Pageant.

You hereby consent to not hold the New Martinsville RegattaFest or New Martinsville RegttaFest Pageant, or pageant directors responsible for any injury that may occur during the time spent at the New Martinsville RegattaFest or Pageant.
