Participation in Certificate IV TAE requires significant amounts of practice and the completion of assessments requires access to a workplace where this can occur.

Please note that the workplace does not have to be the place where you work, however it does need to be a workplace where you can engage with people to complete all training and assessment tasks.

The entry requirements for the TAE40122 are:
Those entering this program must be able to demonstrate vocational competency in their proposed teaching and assessing area. Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.

You must complete the self-reflection table and the subsequent questions below. This informal assessment helps the lecturer determine the support you may need during your studies. Critically evaluate your skills, as you will be creating numerous documents and using existing templates for activities and assessments. Proficiency in using technology for creating learning and assessment materials is crucial for your success in this course.
