Senior Citizen Refuse Discount Application
Single-family households where the head of the household is age 65 or older are eligible for a discounted collection rate, which is $15.05 for monthly curbside service.

Complete the below form to be enrolled in Groot's Senior Discount Program.

The discount will begin the next Groot billing cycle following completion and approval of the application. If a senior household is currently registered for the discount, it is not necessary to re-apply.

You can also apply in-person at the Arlington Heights Senior Center at 847-253- 5532 at 1801 W. Central Rd. with your driver’s license or state ID and Groot bill. Senior Center hours are:
- Mondays/ Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
