AISC provides all of the award plaques (25 total) for the SSBC. They will be shipped to arrive on your campus at least three weeks ahead of the event.

The plaques will include awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following categories:

Overall
Lightness
Construction Speed
Aesthetics
Structural Efficiency
Construction Economy
Stiffness
Cost Estimation

As well as a host plaque as a thank you for planning the event.

Instructions for Additional Equipment not replaced by AISC

Plywood templates, wood pieces, and consumable items like batteries and tape are provided and/or replaced by the host. Additionally, starting with the 2026 competition season, AISC will no longer replace off-the-shelf items like tape measures, scales, clipboards, etc. If any of the following inventory items are damaged or missing, you must provide these items before the competition. AISC will not provide replacements.
