• 2024-2025 My Millbrook Spending

  • My Millbrook Spending (MMS) is a debit system. All student charges, with the exception of tuition, will be processed through the “My Millbrook Spending” debit system, and every student must have an established account with the school.

Although we will not be issuing a card, the idea is similar to an ATM card in that purchases and withdrawals can only be made as long as there is a sufficient balance in the account to cover the transaction. The debit system gives our students a valuable and realistic financial experience while allowing parents to retain control over their child’s spending.

The initial deposit requirement is waived for your family. The financial aid program will activate the student's account with $250 ($150 in the first semester and $100 in the second semester). This amount is intended to help support expenses incurred by your child such as school supplies at the bookstore, transportation, and required athletic clothing and equipment.

Your child will receive textbooks and a Millbrook Planner from the financial aid office. The books are on loan for the year and your student will return them after their final exams. Please review this with your child so s/he is aware.

The preferred method of initial and subsequent funding is via the MyKidsSpending website: MyKidsSpending.com.

Please fill in all of the information requested below to set up your child's My Millbrook Spending account for the 2024-2025 academic year. Please contact myspending@millbrook.org if you have questions, or visit the Business Office section of our Frequently Asked Questions.

    New Millbrook Families
  • The financial aid program will activate your student's debit account with $250 ($150 first semester and $100 second semester).

You will need to supplement this amount periodically to cover costs associated with the snack bar, discretionary spending in the book store, fundraising activities or cash allowance. Please review this with your child so they are aware.

  • We recommend setting up an account MyKidsSpending website to see the student's transactions and current balance. You will need the student's student ID # (see their contact card on the Millbrook parent portal) and a valid email address. You may fund via checking account (no fee) or credit card (fee will apply).

  • If you do not have a US bank account or credit card and would like to add money to the account, please visit Flywire or PayMyTuition to complete the student's funding. Select "Tuition Deposit" on Flywire or select "Incidental Spending (MMS Account)" on PayMyTuition from the drop down menu. Our office will apply the funds to your MMS account. You still may set up online access to the spending account on the MyKidsSpending website to see the student's transactions and current balance, but you will not be able to fund the account online.
