The Mister & Miss Africa WA Universities is a prestigious event that celebrates the talents and achievements of young men and women from WA Universities. This platform seeks to inspire and uplift students by promoting leadership, cultural appreciation, and active community involvement.

Expectations
Participants will be required to undergo comprehensive training in catwalk skills, public speaking, stage presence and other skills to empower them to build confidence. These sessions are designed to prepare participants for the competition and support their personal and professional development.
The competition will recognise excellence through several key categories, including Mister & Miss Africa WA Universities Winner, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up, with cash prizes ranging from $3,000 to $100 awarded to winners. Additional awards will highlight standout qualities such as Miss/Mr. Popularity, Best Traditional Wear, Best Speech/Intelligence, and Best Talent, ensuring participants have multiple opportunities to shine and be celebrated for their unique strengths.
Requirements:
Contestants will also be expected to serve as OACWA Ambassadors, representing the organisation and its values within their communities and beyond. They will have the opportunity to engage with various OACWA departments, such as African Students in WA (ASIWA) and other OACWA departments, contributing to programs that support the organisation's mission and objectives.
