For our third year in Costa Rica we are building out a Mercado in addition to our Marketplace! Last year we had a beautiful marketplace for vendors, we are happy to be expanding .We'd like for our Mercado shop to contain locally made goods, clothes, and art so we can support our local community. We will also be stocking the shelves with necessities that may have been forgotten in packing or lost along the way (toothbrush, feminine products, water bottle, etc). This application is for applying to have your local goods in our general store on consignment.

Our Mercado shop will be curated with locally made goods, clothes, and indigenous art + cacao so we can support our local community. We will also be stocking the shelves with necessities that may have been forgotten in packing or lost along the way (toothbrush, feminine products, water bottle, etc). We will prioritize applications from our Mentors (teachers) or collaborators. We'll run the shop so you don't have to manage your sales, and in exchange our shop will take 25% commission of sales. Each artisan/small business owner will be responsible for bringing their own booth (table, rack, signage, business cards, etc) and their ware. You will need to purchase a ticket to the gathering to attend.

We're excited to be re-opening up vendor applications for our '25 January gatherings. If accepted for this position, you'll be able to set up your own booth at Origins and attend to it throughout the gathering. You'll be responsible for your own hours + sales and can also attend the workshops/experiences you want to. All vendors must be in attendance at Origins, or have an employee/friend setup and run your booth. You will need to purchase a ticket to the gathering to attend + pay a booth fee. If you are a local Costa Rican we will include your booth fee in your ticket.
