Adelaide Cabaret Festival and Adelaide Festival Centre's centrED invite talented performing arts students currently in year 10 or 11, from regional South Australia to nominate themselves for the 2025 Nathaniel O'Brien Class of Cabaret Scholarship. The chosen applicant will receive express entry into the 2025 Class of Cabaret program.
The recipient of the scholarship will take part in rehearsals, workshops, masterclasses, and an intensive day camp throughout Terms 1 & 2 culminating in performances as part of the 2025 Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Each scholarship is valued up to $6,000 to assist with travel and accommodation required to attend each session, which all part place in Adelaide. They will also receive mentorship in the art of cabaret performance from two renowned artists and private tuition from one of Adelaide's leading vocal teachers. In addition, a Department for Education teacher will guide students through assessments to achieve SACE accreditation in either Creative Arts Stage 2 or Community Studies Stage 1, which is an integral part of the experience.

Auditions: Wednesday 23 & Thursday 24 2024 (Term 4, Week 2)
Notification of Results by: The week following auditions (Term 4, Week 2)
Information night for successful applicants: Wednesday 13 November (Term 4, Week 4)

Class of Cabaret Performance Date: Saturday 21 June 2025
Workshops: Approx. 20 sessions held over Terms 1 & 2, 2025
