NMB 2025 Scholarship Application
- In order to encourage a broad spectrum of diversity at the New Music on the Bayou Festival, we are excited to offer two $1000 travel scholarships. The purpose of the scholarships are to bolster participation by underrepresented communities, whether defined by gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or other. One of the scholarships is specifically designated for a Black composer to address historical and systemic racial inequality in the field of American composition.

- A letter of support from a mentor, teacher, colleague, or friend in support of your application must be submitted separately to info@newmusiconthebayou.com for complete consideration.
- The deadline to be considered for the travel scholarship is March 31. Recipients will be notified by email on April 14.
