  • Personalised Transportation Service

  • St. George's International Schools offers a safe and convenient door-to-door bus service for its pupils, open to children from Foundation Stage 1 upwards.

Depending on the pick-up/drop-off address requested, our driver may be able to meet the pupil at that exact location, or may suggest somewhere very near if road access is difficult for the bus.

  • General Conditions

    • Schedules and pick-up points will be organised according to the replies received.
    • Places will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis and according to date of receipt. A waiting list will be created where necessary.
    • Once the transportation service has been confirmed, cancellations or changes will not be accepted and parents who withdraw will be charged for one complete month.
    • We cannot guarantee that a bus route will reach all pick-up locations requested by parents. We reserve the right to cancel a request which cannot be fulfilled.
    • Only pupils who are registered may use the Minibus Transport.
    • For Junior School pupils: if an adult is not at the afternoon drop off point, and no prior parental authorisation has been given todrop the child off without adult supervision, the bus driver will bring the child back to school.
    • All absences (i.e. when your child is sick) must be communicated to the bus driver early enough in order to avoid an unecessary detour.
  • Behaviour

    • Safety is of the utmost importance. If pupils are not wearing their safety belts, the bus driver will not depart.
    • If you or the pupil are late at the pick-up point, the bus driver cannot wait.
    • Pupils on the Minibus Transport are to adhere to the general St. George’s rules of behaviour found in the Regulations for Pupil Conduct.
    • Pupils should demonstrate respect, courtesy and consideration to the driver and to the other students, and to the general public while waiting for the bus, boarding or leaving the bus and during the bus journey.
    • Pupils who misbehave and engage in unacceptable or dangerous behaviour may be subject to temporary or permanent suspension from all school organised transportation, and may be subject to further sanctions in accordance with the Regulations for Pupil Conduct.
    • Pupils must keep noise levels to a minimum: they must not shout or play loud music.
    • Pupils are not allowed to eat in the vehicles.
    • Pupils should not speak to or distract the driver except in case of emergency.
