The nominations deadline is Monday, December 2nd.
Please be aware that nominees MUST be current members of IACM to be eligible for ballot consideration. If the nominee is not a member, the nominee must proceed to IAfCM.org to purchase a one-year membership.
If nominating an IACM member (other than yourself in a self-nomination), you must have the consent of the prospective nominee to submit this application.
Board members are expected to attend the July pre-conference and post-conference meetings, as well as attend and be engaged in any virtual meetings and email discussions conducted in between. There is a minimum of four (4) meetings throughout the year with most being held virtually.
We have one (1) President-Elect and two (2) At-Large Board Member positions we are seeking nominations for.
President-Elect
- The President-Elect will serve for one (1) year beginning with the close of IACM 2025 and ending with the close of IACM 2026 before ascending to the presidency.
- Will serve as President of the Association for two (2) years from the close of IACM 2026 through the close of IACM 2028 before proceeding to the role of Past-President
- Will serve as Past-President of the Association for one (1) year from the close of IACM 2028 through the close of IACM 2029.
- Upon completion of the entirety of the four-year presidential term, the individual will be placed on the IACM Advisory Council of past presidents.
At-Large:
- At-Large Board Members serve for two (2) years beginning with the close of IACM 2025 and ending with the close of IACM 2027.
- At-Large Board Members may chair and/or participate in a variety of critical committees.
The Nominations & Elections committee will follow up with nominees. A nomination does not guarantee a place on the ballot. Long-term presence in the Society is not a prerequisite to be on the ballot, so we encourage junior, mid-career, and senior faculty alike to be nominated! Nominees will be requested to provide a one-page background for members to be able to review as well as a headshot image for the voting process.
The election will take place in December/January. All individuals that are members of IACM as of the December 1st membership roster will be eligible to vote in this election.
