Central Texas Women’s Lacrosse Officials Organization (CTWLOO) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) membership based association. CTWLOO provides officials for high school and youth girl's lacrosse events across Central Texas.
All officials are independent contractors (or 1099 workers). In order to be assigned games, officials must be certified and be current members of USA Lacrosse and CTWLOO.
CTWLOO provides field training to all new officials as part of membership. Training time is unpaid. Visit our Training page for details on certification requirements.
Girl's Lacrosse is a Spring sport, with most games taking place between February and May. Officials can make between $55 and $100 per game depending on official's age and certification level and the level of play.
Becoming an official involves roughly $200 in start-up costs for adult officials ($80 for youth officials) which includes USA Lacrosse membership, CTWLOO membership, a 1" black and white stripped shirt (neon yellow shirt provided by CTWLOO for youth officials), and black shorts and accessories. CTWLOO provides members with their first whistle, cards, flag and coin.
