  • 2025-26 Campus Parking Permit Options

  • Standard Parking Permit - $30 (Full Year) or $15 (Semester 2 Only)

    • Students will be assigned a parking spot.
    • Students would have the option to retain this parking spot until graduation (like our current locker assignment system).

    Preferred Parking Permit - $50 (Full Year) or $25 (Semester 2 Only)

    • Students would be allowed to choose a parking spot.
    • Students would have the option to retain this parking spot until graduation (like our current locker assignment system).
    • Proceeds from the additional funds would be used for 2024-25 CCMR field trips.
  • Campus Parking/Driving Guidelines and Regulations

    1. All students must obtain a permit from the office to park their personal or family vehicles at school.
    2. Permits will be sold only to high school students presenting a valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
    3. Students willl be issued a unique, numbered parking permit sticker.
    4. Parking permit stickers must be placed on lower left corner of the rear windshield.
    5. The cost of a new parking sticker is $30.00 (Standard Parking Permit) or $50 (Preferred Parking Permit). Sticker purchased in January or later are $15/$25 (spring semester only). Replacement parking stickers are $10.00.
    6. A student has 3 days to replace a lost or stolen parking sticker.
    7. Vehicles will not be allowed to park in the student lot without a permit and parking sticker. If a vehicle is found in the parking lot without a parking sticker, a warning will be issued. The second time a violation occurs the vehicle may be towed at the owner’s expense.
    8. Students may only park in the student parking lot (between the main building and football field) in assigned spots.
    9. Students may not park behind the main building or in reserved or faculty parking spaces.
    10. Parking spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
    11. Students must park appropriately between lined/marked parking spots.  Parallel parking is not permitted.
    12. Students must raise windows, lock doors, and secure belongings.  KHS is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
    13. Students must leave their vehicles immediately upon arrival at school. Students may not loiter in the parking lot or re-enter the parking lot at any time during the school day without permission and a valid pass from an administrator.
    14. Motor vehicles may not exceed 10 mph on school property and may not be driven in reckless manner at any time.  Students who drive recklessly or at excessive speeds will lose campus driving privileges.
    15. Students must park on the pavement in designated parking areas. Vehicles may not be parked on the grass or driven across a non-paved area on the school campus at any time.
    16. The principal may discipline students or revoke a student’s parking privileges at any time with or without warning for violations of these rules.
    17. Vehicles parked on the campus are subject to search by school administrators and /or police officials. The school district also employs a private service that performs random checks of vehicles using canines trained to smell drugs, alcohol, firearms, and medicines.
    18. Students parking on campus are subject to random drug testing.
