The nomination of a woman or man to be considered for admission as a Dame or Knight of the Order is a matter of solemn responsibility. The nominator should prayerfully discern and confirm the genuine interest and readiness of the individual prior to submitting a nomination. It is expected that the nominator knows the candidate personally and well, and is able to attest to their willingness to offer their time, talent, and treasure in faithful service to the Lieutenancy and to the mission of the Order.
Acceptance of this responsibility includes the expectation that, should the Lieutenant extend an invitation for admission, the nominator will serve as a mentor and guide to the newly invested member. The nominator’s own example of active participation in Section and Lieutenancy life provides a vital witness and encouragement to the spiritual growth and commitment of the candidate.
Please ensure that the form is completed fully and accurately and submit it to the Section Representative for review and confirmation of completeness.
*Separate forms are required for each candidate if both husband and wife are being proposed.
