Forging Forward Walleye Fishing Retreat

REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION

The Forging Forward Walleye Fishing Retreat requires all participants to arrive between 2-4 pm local time in Port Clinton, OH, on April 3, 2025 and depart at 8 am on April 6, 2025. If you cannot meet these requirements, please pass on signing up for this event.

If you have attended a Forging Forward Retreat in the past 12 months, you are not eligible to attend this event UNLESS there is an open spot after all other applicants have been considered, were chosen, and dropped out due to a personal circumstance. Please feel free to apply and we will add you to the waiting list.

Forging Forward is co-hosting this Retreat with Walleyes For Wounded Heroes.

There are 6 fishing and lodging spots available, both male and female can apply. Lodging arrangements are co-ed.

APPLICATION CLOSES: MARCH 3, 2025 or sooner, if slots are filled.

 

SERVICE DOGS

Fully trained service dogs are welcome at the Retreat, but you must bring a crate. Service dogs come with various degrees of training and behavior. If your service dog becomes disruptive or a distraction in any way during the program, (includes growling, lunging, excessively anxious, or in any other way distracting) you will be asked to crate the animal. If your service dog cannot be crated, it is recommended that you find boarding for your animal.

Any indication that your dog is not adequately trained as a service dog, and you will be asked to remove the dog from the Retreat.

Service dogs "in training" are not allowed.

 

If I am selected for the Forging Forward Walleye Fishing Retreat at Lake Erie, I understand if I am a no-show, it will impact my consider for a future event.

If I am selected for the Forging Forward Walleye Fishing Retreat at Lake Erie, I understand I MUST report to the event coordinator (jamie@forgingforward.org) no later than March 3, 2025, if a circumstance arises that prohibits me from attending. This allows the organization time to find a replacement.
