I AM Bowling™ Future Star Contract Terms and Conditions
1. Contract Term and Duration
A. This agreement takes effect upon completion and submission of the contract form.
B. It will remain active until terminated by either party according to the terms outlined below.
C. Renewal of this contract is only required if the youth bowler voluntarily resigns and later rejoins the program.
2. Parental Consent for Minors
A. Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) may participate in the Future Star Program only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
B. In such cases, the contract must be completed using the youth bowler's information but reviewed and signed by the parent or legal guardian.
C. Any Future Star contract submitted and signed solely by a minor will be considered null and void upon receipt.
3. Eligibility Requirements
A. The youth bowler must be under the age of nineteen (19) years old.
B. A one-time purchase of a Future Star t-shirt or shammy for twenty dollars ($20) is required. A parent or guardian may complete this purchase on the youth bowler’s behalf.
4. Account Registration
A. Most benefits outlined in Section 6 are administered through an online account at www.iambowling.com. Bowlers must create an account if one does not already exist.
B. The account must be registered under the same email address as provided in this contract. Benefits will only be applied to the account associated with that email.
C. The youth bowler must have a distinct account on www.iambowling.com that is separate from the account of his or her parent or legal guardian.
i. A parent or guardian may manage the youth bowler’s account if needed.
D. If a parent or legal guardian enrolls multiple youth bowlers in the Future Star Program, each youth bowler must maintain a separate account on www.iambowling.com. Future Star benefits may not be applied more than once to a single online account.
E. If a new account is created, it is the signer's sole responsibility to notify team@iambowling.com and confirm the associated email address to activate benefits.
i. Benefits, including commissions, will not be processed until the account is created and confirmed via email. No action will be taken until written communication is received.
F. Under normal circumstances, benefits may take up to three (3) business days to be applied following confirmation. During busier periods, additional time may be required. Business days exclude weekends and U.S. federal holidays.
5. Nature of the Contract
A. This agreement is a personal contract and is not intended for use as a pro shop account. Orders may be placed for the participant and immediate family members only.
B. Creating multiple accounts for the same individual using different identities or email addresses is strictly prohibited. Each youth bowler may have only one active Future Star account at any given time. Attempting to bypass this policy may result in contract termination.
C. If multiple contract submissions are received for the same individual, the following policies will be upheld:
i. Only the first completed and submitted contract will be considered valid. Any subsequent submissions will be disregarded for eligibility and benefits purposes.
ii. The Future Star t-shirt or shammy purchase will be honored for each submission, but no additional benefits will be granted to any subsequent accounts.
D. Updates to any personal information cannot be made through a new contract submission. All such changes must be requested by contacting team@iambowling.com.
6. Future Star Benefits
A. Fulfillment of T-Shirt or Shammy Purchase
i. The chosen item will be shipped to the shipping address provided in this contract based on the current standard production and shipping timeline.
a. If a physical T-shirt or shammy is provided as part of an in-person Future Stars promotion, the right to receive shipment of the selected item will be forfeited, as the item has been delivered in person.
B. Preferential Pricing
i. The youth bowler will receive an automatic ten percent (10%) discount on all products, except for those in the “Pro Shop," "Strikeforce Bowling," and "USBC" categories, when logged into his or her registered account.
a. Publicly available automatic discounts may also be applied at checkout, subject to the discretion of I AM Bowling™.
ii. The youth bowler is permitted to use any currently active and valid coupon codes, except for his or her own coupon code or those of other Future Stars.
iii. Future Star Program discounts will remain available after the youth bowler turns nineteen (19) and ages out of the program, unless the youth bowler elects to transition to the National Staffer Program. Please refer to Section 9 for additional details.
C. Personal Coupon Code:
i. The youth bowler must create a unique personal coupon code to share with friends, family, and followers.
a. The code must be no more than twelve (12) characters long and contain only letters and numbers.
b. The code must be original and may not conflict with any code already in use.
c. Codes containing profanity, offensive language, or inappropriate content will be rejected at the sole discretion of I AM Bowling™.
d. All submitted codes are subject to internal review and approval.
ii. The coupon provides a twenty percent (20%) discount on all products available on www.iambowling.com, except for those in the “Pro Shop," "Strikeforce Bowling," and "USBC" categories.
iii. This coupon code is valid exclusively for guest checkouts and online accounts designated with retail customer status.
iv. The code may be used in combination with automatic online promotions when used by eligible accounts.
v. The youth bowler will earn a ten percent (10%) commission on all qualifying purchases made with his or her code.
a. Commissions are paid monthly as store credit applied to the youth bowler's online account.
vi. To request a change to the selected coupon code, the youth bowler must contact team@iambowling.com directly.
a. Once the change takes effect, commissions earned under the previous code will end. All future commissions will be tracked under the newest code.
b. Any new requested coupon code must meet the same criteria as the original code, as outlined above in this section of the contract.
c. I AM Bowling™ reserves the right to deny coupon code change requests at its discretion.
D. Additional Benefits
i. The youth bowler will have access to exclusive Future Star merchandise.
ii. Complimentary products may occasionally be provided at the discretion of I AM Bowling™.
7. Membership Maintenance Criteria
A. At least one hundred dollars ($100) in merchandise must be purchased annually to maintain active status. A parent or guardian may complete these purchases on the youth bowler’s behalf.
B. The youth bowler must demonstrate exceptional conduct while representing the I AM Bowling™ brand.
C. Active promotion of the brand is expected via social media or word-of-mouth when appropriate.
i. If the youth bowler has social media accounts, he or she is expected to promote his or her code on social media using the hashtags #iambowling, #teamiambowling, and #bowlingisfun, and to mention the I AM Bowling™ brand or highlight his or her bowling performance.
8. Program Exclusivity
A. The youth bowler may only be enrolled in one program at a time, either the Future Star Program or the National Staffer Program. Participation in both simultaneously is not allowed.
i. Attempting to register for both programs using different identities or email addresses is prohibited and may result in disqualification from both.
ii. If an active National Staffer attempts to enroll in the Future Star Program, or if a Future Star participant attempts to enroll in the National Staffer Program, the individual will be asked to choose which program he or she wishes to remain in.
a. In either scenario, any purchases made in connection with either contract will be upheld and cannot be refunded.
B. The youth bowler is strongly encouraged to complete the I AM Bowling™ National Staffer Qualification Survey before signing up for the Future Star Program, as the National Staffer Program offers greater benefits.
i. Completing the survey will help assess whether the National Staffer Program is the more suitable option for the youth bowler.
ii. Eligibility requirements still apply, and acceptance into the National Staffer Program is not guaranteed.
9. Automatic Qualification for National Staff
A. Upon turning nineteen (19), the youth bowler will automatically qualify for the National Staffer Program.
i. This benefit is only available to active members of the Future Star Program. Resigned participants are not entitled to automatic qualification for National Staff upon turning nineteen (19).
ii. Automatic qualification does not result in automatic advancement. To transition into the National Staffer Program, the youth bowler must complete and sign a National Staffer contract.
a. A National Staffer contract will be automatically offered via email on the youth bowler’s nineteenth (19th) birthday.
i. The email offer will be triggered based on the date of birth provided in this contract. It is the signer’s sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the birthdate submitted.
ii. Receipt of this email is contingent upon the youth bowler’s email address being actively subscribed to all I AM Bowling™ communications at the time of scheduled delivery.
iii. I AM Bowling™ is not responsible for undelivered emails due to issues beyond the brand's control, such as spam filters, provider errors, or other technical failures.
iv. If the youth bowler does not receive this email on his or her nineteenth (19th) birthday, it is his or her responsibility to contact team@iambowling.com to request the contract and ensure proper processing.
iii. Advancement to the National Staffer Program is not required. The youth bowler may choose not to transition and may continue participating in the current program.
iv. Until a National Staffer contract is signed, the youth bowler will continue to retain Future Star status and all associated benefits.
v. Once a National Staffer contract is signed, this Future Star agreement will be rendered void, and all Future Star benefits will be discontinued and replaced with those outlined in the National Staffer agreement.
10. Compliance with High School and Collegiate Rules
A. I AM Bowling™ is not responsible for violations of high school or collegiate eligibility rules related to program participation.
B. It is the signer's sole responsibility for ensuring compliance.
11. Contract Termination
A. I AM Bowling™ reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for cause, namely if the youth bowler violates any of its terms or engages in any of the actions outlined below:
i. Termination may occur if the youth bowler engages in illegal activity.
ii. Termination may occur if the youth bowler displays abusive behavior toward other Future Stars, National Staffers, or I AM Bowling™ employees.
iii. Termination may occur if the youth bowler acts in a way that negatively impacts the I AM Bowling™ brand.
iv. Termination may occur if it is determined that the youth bowler was a minor at the time of contract submission and falsified a parent or guardian’s signature.
B. I AM Bowling™ also reserves the right to terminate this contract without cause by providing thirty (30) days' written notice to the staffer.
C. If this contract is terminated by I AM Bowling™ for cause, the youth bowler will not be eligible for reinstatement in this program or for future participation in the National Staffer Program.
D. A youth bowler may voluntarily resign his or her participation in this program at any time by submitting written notice to team@iambowling.com.
i. In the event of voluntary resignation, the youth bowler may request to return to the program at a later date.
a. To rejoin the Future Star Program, the youth bowler must still meet all program requirements and resubmit this form along with a new t-shirt or shammy purchase.
ii. If a youth bowler resigns from the Future Star Program at any time and later seeks to join the National Staffer Program, he or she will forfeit the privilege of automatic qualification for National Staff.
a. To become a National Staffer, the individual must qualify through the standard process and meet all eligibility requirements in effect at the time of application.
E. Upon termination or voluntary resignation from the program, the following actions will take effect immediately:
i. All Future Star privileges will be removed, and the associated online account will revert to a standard retail account. However, any previously accumulated store credit will remain available for use.
ii. The coupon code selected by the individual will remain active and usable by customers, but no further commission will be earned from its use.
iii. The individual will no longer receive any commission, regardless of when the related sales occurred or when commission payouts are scheduled.
12. Contract Modifications and Enforcement
A. I AM Bowling™ reserves the right to modify or amend the terms of this contract at any time and to issue addendums when necessary. Any modification or addendum will become effective upon written notice to the staffer.
B. Any decision not to enforce a provision of this contract at a given time does not waive, limit, or otherwise affect the right to enforce that provision, or any other provision, at any time in the future.
