What is an Angel?

An angel is someone who advocates for and supports a cause or initiative.

Program Objective:

Our objective is to engage with individuals and families by assisting with Summerville Dream events, projects and initiative and make positive contributions to our shared environment. Through active participation in a variety of events, projects and initiative aligned with Summerville Dreams mission, we endeavor to elevate the quality of life in our community. From assisting during cultural festivities to promoting engagement with our community, we are dedicated to creating tangible impacts in the lives of our fellow community members.

Volunteer opportunies include but not limited to Third Thursday, Summerville Farmers Market, Sweet Tea Festival, fundraiser events and The Summerville Christmas Parade.

This is a great opportunity for High School students to get volunteer hours! Must be 15+

Summerville Dream Event Dates:

Third Thursday- The 3rd Thursday of every month. Event volunteer hours are from 4pm to 9pm. (Could split this time in half). Event hours 5:30pm-8:30pm

Summerville Farmers Market- Every Saturday April-November rain or shine.

Volunteer hours 7am-2:30pm Market hours 8am-1pm

Sweet Tea Festival- Sept 21, 2024 Event hours 2pm-7pm. Voluteer hours 8am-8pm (these hours will be split up)

Summerville Christmas Parade- December 8 2024 Event hours 2pm-4pm. Volunteer hours 11am-4pm.

Summerville Dream fundraising events:

Annual Fire and Ice: First of the year. Date announce at a later date

Annual Sweet Tee Golf Outing: September 13th

Flowertown Revue: The Golden Age Expirance: November 15th and 16th

Fundrasing and other events will be announced as they come up.
