    Under our constitution, the definition of a (formal) volunteer is “a member who works for the Museum on an ongoing basis and does not seek financial compensation. As a general guideline, an ‘ongoing basis’ is a person who assists the Museum for 48 hours or more a year”.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

    • Once you have completed this expression of interest, you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator, to arrange an introduction to the workings of the Museum.
    • Volunteers are offered training and/or guidance in their area(s) of interest.
    • As a formal volunteer with the Redlands Coast Musuem, your commitment will be for a minimum of 48 hours per year, or more, at your own discretion.
    • A three-month probationary period applies to new Volunteers.
    • More information is available in the Museum's “Volunteer Handbook”.
    • When your membership renewal is due, as an approved volunteer, your membership fees will be reduced by 50%pa for an Individual Membership
    • Volunteers are covered by Volunteer Insurance and Public Liability Insurance of $20 million.
