    Thank you for considering YDSPS as your pet care provider. The following questions are the basics we need in order to check availability and match a sitter that will be able to handle the needs of your pet.   • Service Needs

  • To be able to provide you with the best quality of service we recommend you follow your pet's current routine to prevent anxiety or issues with your pet.

    For Pet Sitting we recommend 3-4 visits per day on full days, keeping your pet as close to their normal routine as possible to alleviate stress.

    For Cat Sits and Small Animal Care visits. We recommend at least one visit per day to check that food and water has not been knocked over, pet has not trapped themselves in a closet or become stressed from too much alone time, causing illness or injury.

     

  • Home Entry and Meet and Greet

  • Service Note: We do not keep keys and require use of a lockbox, garage code, door code or other secured option for onsite key pickup. For your safety and the safety of our sitters, unlocked homes and keys hidden under door mats or in unsecured locations are not an option. 

  • MEET & GREET: Before we can get started we do require a meet and greet. We use this opportunity to make sure we are a good fit for each other. The meet and greet will be with a member of our management team. If you prefer to meet with a sitter or if your pet requires a meet with sitter we do require a meet and greet charge. We work as a team to provide the best care to our clients. While we try to keep the same sitter with our clients as much as possible, depending on the services needs and availability sometimes several sitters will rotate care for your pet(s).

  • After you submit your details we will review and check our availability. We may have additional questions to make sure we get the best sitter fit for you and your pet(s).

    Once we have confirmed availability we will contact you, as well as send our new client setup and an invitation to set up a profile in our client software program. If you have contacted us after hours, during a holiday or on the weekend you may not hear from us until the next business day.

    If for some reason we are unable to handle your request, we will provide you with some references of other companies in the area.
