**Health Guarantee and Conditions of Purchase**
Goldpeak Dobermans offers a 2-year limited health guarantee with all puppies bred by us. By receiving this document, your puppy is eligible for this guarantee. The breeder guarantees that, during the first 2 years of life, your new puppy will be free from congenital heart disease, hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and thyroid disorders, provided that all terms and conditions are met.
**Terms & Dietary Requirements**
This guarantee is valid only if the new owner follows the breeder’s nutritional recommendations for their puppy. These guidelines include feeding a quality name-brand food that is not grain-free, a raw diet, or large breed puppy food for at least the first year. Failure to adhere to these recommendations will void the guarantee. Additionally, the guarantee is void in the event of any injury or nutritional deficiency leading to joint issues.
As an additional condition of purchase, new owners must have their puppy examined by their veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase. If any abnormalities or life-threatening conditions are found, the breeder must be notified within 24 hours, and the examining veterinarian must provide supporting documentation to the breeder. The breeder reserves the right to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian of their choice before validating any guarantees. If a puppy is declared deceased, a Necrosis Report must be done by a Vet within 12 hours of said puppy passing and provided to Breeder within 48 hours of receiving results. If the reason of death falls under the Health Guarantee, then a replacement puppy will be offered that is currently available or from future litters.
The guarantee covers congenital heart disease, thyroid disease, hip and elbow dysplasia. If all conditions have been met and a covered abnormality is found, the owner may choose to exchange the puppy for another of equal or lesser value, or receive half the purchase price. However, replacements are subject to availability and may require waiting for an appropriate litter. There is no guarantee that a replacement puppy will have the same breeding or colors as the original.
No monetary exchanges will be made for any costs incurred while caring for the puppy. If a claim is found to be invalid under the health guarantee, no exchange will be provided.
New owners are responsible for all healthcare, including vaccines and deworming, after purchase. Puppies will be vaccinated and dewormed before leaving our care, but we cannot guarantee the absence of parasites.
**Spay/Neuter Policy**
This guarantee is void if puppies are spayed or neutered before 18 months of age.
**Return Policy**
Puppies must not be re-homed or sold without prior consent from the breeder. If a puppy is re-homed without consent, all guarantees are void. The breeder will either authorize a new home or resume ownership until a suitable placement is found.
**Housing**
Puppies are sold under the condition that they will primarily be housed indoors. If it is discovered that a puppy is primarily housed outdoors, the guarantee will be void.
**Slander/Libel**
Owners are prohibited from making defamatory statements or libel about the breeder or breeding program. Any disputes must be resolved privately with the breeder or legal counsel at the owner’s expense. Discussing disputes with third parties will result in forfeiture of the health guarantee and ownership of the puppy.
By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the above guarantee, terms, and conditions associated with the purchase of the described puppy. I affirm that the puppy appears healthy at this time and have received copies of all relevant health and care documents.
