  • This is a weekly reading and hifth program, designed for kids, young minds, and adults.

    Iqra: Iqra focuses on learning to read the Quran. This is divided into three levels: Iqra 1(Beginners); Iqra 2 (Intermediate), Iqra 3 (Advance) on weekdays (Monday & Wednesday; OR Tuesday & Thursday), Two hours sessions from 5pm to 7pm.

    o Iqra 1 (ages 5+): For basic beginners who are starting to learn Arabic Alphabets:

    (Noorania from lesson 1 to lesson 8) will be used. This teaches basic letter recognition and pronunciation, learning to read the Arabic alphabet letters, enabling students to master some Arabic words, learn some few surahs & Duas, before advancing to Iqra 2.
    ⦁ Evaluation will be made for all kids before advancing to Iqra 2.


    o Iqra 2: For those who can read at a minimum three letter words, but can’t read full sentences:

    This level will be the 2nd half of Noorania from lesson 8 to Lesson 16. This level enables students to master Arabic words, learn Tajweed rules (Ghunna, Ikhfa, Idhaar, Qalqala, etc) including understanding letter characteristics and pronunciation. Learn some few surahs & Duas.
    ⦁ Evaluation will be made for all kids before advancing to Iqra 3.


    o Iqra 3: For those who can read full sentences fluently and have completed Iqra 2:

    The emphasis and focus at this level is on Tajweed & Maharij. Students should be able to read many ayas very fluently from cover to cover in one year.
    ⦁ Additional Requirement for Iqra 3: Within one year, Students should complete reading the entire Quran (Khatma’l Quran) from Fatiha to Nas with proper Tajweed rules (Ghunna, Ikhfa, Idhaar, Qalqala, etc) including understanding letter characteristics and pronunciation.


    Hifth (Memorization):
    This is a Quran memorization program designed for passionate students to memorize the Quran from Fatiha to Nas through different levels (Hifth1, 2, 3). Taught on weekdays (Monday & Wednesday; OR Tuesday & Thursday), Two hours sessions from 5pm to 7pm.


    • Hifth 1 Beginners level: Juz Amma in one year (Memorization):
    This is a Quran memorization track designed for students individual reading levels regardless of age (could start as early as at age 5) .
    ⦁ Requirement: Students should complete the memorization of Juz Amma within one year in this level.


    • Hifth 2 Intermediate level: Memorize Juz Tabarak to Juz Al-Ahqaf (four Juz):
    In Hifth 2 level, Teachers should also be reviewing Juz Amma with kids periodically, and then focus on the memorization of the four Juz within one year: Juz Tabarak to Juz Al-Ahqaf.


    • Hifth 3 Advance level: Prerequisite: Students should already have memorized more than five Juz (Juz doesn’t have to be in chronological order), then they move to this Hifth 3 level.
    ⦁ Additional Requirement for Hifth 3: Within 3 to 5 years, Students should memorize the complete Quran with Ijaza Certification, if possible, Hafith Quran!

    There will be multiple sections each for Iqra & Hifth classes based on students’ assessments and placements.


    o Little Stars Class: Learn & Play for little minds (Ages 3-5)
    Prerequisite for this class: Needs to be potty trained!

    ⦁ Little Stars Class for children ages 3-5 on Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm. This is a way to introduce little minds to Islam, get them comfortable with the masjid and classroom setting before they start PreK.
    ⦁ Little Stars class is purely a fun and learning environment filled with animated activities, watching videos of Arabic alphabet songs, short Surahs to memorize, Adkhar, Duas when eating, waking up, before sleeping, and wudu steps.

    o Adult Reading/Hafith - Sisters Only: Adult, Sisters only once a week class will be offered on Wednesdays 10 am to 12 pm & Thursdays 5:00pm to 7:00pm, focusing on Quran reading, memorization, and proper Tajweed.

    o Adult Reading/Hafith – Brothers Only: Adults, Brothers only twice a week class will be offered on Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, focusing on Quran reading, memorization, and proper Tajweed.

    IN CONSIDERATION of allowing my minor child to participate with the Al Falah Quran Academy; I REPRESENT AND WARRANT TO YOU THAT:

    1. I am a parent/guardian having full legal responsibility for decisions regarding my minor child, and

    2. I am familiar with the risk of serious injury which any participant in this program must assume, and

    3. I believe that my minor child is physically, emotionally and mentally able to participate in this program, and

    4. I understand, and will instruct my minor child, that all applicable rules for participation must be followed and that at all times the sole responsibility for personal safety remains with my minor child.

    I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE, ON BEHALF OF MY MINOR CHILD, MYSELF, MY HEIRS, ASSIGNS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES AND NEXT OF KIN, THAT MY EXECUTION OF THIS DOCUMENT CONSTITUTES:

    ​1. an unqualified ASSUMPTION OF ALL RISKS associated with participation in this program by my minor child even if arising from negligence, or gross negligence, including any compounding or aggravation of injuries caused by negligent rescue operations or procedures, of the program organizer and any persons associated therewith or participating therein, and

    2. a FULL AND FINAL RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY of the program organizer and all persons and organizations associated with it and the program including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, its officers, directors, officials, agents, volunteers and/or employees, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, owners and/ or lessors of the premises used to conduct the program, sanctioning bodies, medical or rescue personnel (collectively, the “RELEASEES”), of and from with the respect to all injury,

    3. disability, death or loss or damage to person or property whether arising from the negligence, or negligent rescue of or by the foregoing or otherwise, and

    4. an UNDERSTANDING NOT TO SUE the RELEASEES for any loss, injury, costs or damages of any form or type, howsoever caused or arising, and whether directly or indirectly from the participation of my minor child in the program, and

    5. full permission to the Al Falah Quran Academy and its affiliates to record, capture and post my and/or my child’s story, photo, video, audio or other item, hereinafter referred to as “Materials,” on its website, email, print materials, and social media channels. I hereby release Al Falah Center its representatives, employees, managers, members, officers, parent companies, subsidiaries, volunteers and directors, from all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with any use of said “Materials”, including, without limitation, all claims for invasion of privacy, infringement of my right of publicity, defamation and any other personal and/or property rights. I acknowledge and agree that no sums whatsoever will be due to me as a result of the use and/or exploitation of the “Materials” or any rights therein, and​​

    6. an AGREEMENT TO INDEMNIFY, and to SAVE and HOLD HARMLESS the RELEASEES, and each of them, from any litigation expense, legal fees, liability, damage, award or cost, of any form or type whatsoever, they may incur due to any claim made against them or any one of them whether the claim is based on the negligence or the gross negligence of the RELEASEES or otherwise.

    7. In the event of any emergency, I authorize the Al Falah Center to secure from any licensed hospital, physician and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for my minor child's immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered.

     ​I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT THOROUGHLY AND I UNDERSTAND THAT THE RELEASEES ARE RELYING UPON MY WARRANTIES, ASSUMPTIONS, WAIVER AND RELEASE, UNDERTAKINGS AND AGREEMENTS WHEN ACCEPTING MY MINOR CHILD’S PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROGRAM.

    I UNDERSTAND THAT BY ENTERING MY INFORMATION BELOW, I AM SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT AND I GIVE UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS THAT I AND/ OR MY MINOR CHILD WOULD OTHERWISE HAVE.
