    Library Research Instruction at SLU

This is a research experience best designed to coincide with general research instruction or specific instruction related to an 1818 writing or research assignment. Your 1818 dual-enrolled students should come prepared to work on a current assignment.

Students will receive research instruction from one of SLU's Librarians tailored to their instructor's assignment. Computer access will be vital so students may expect to work in a computer lab or on a laptop during this time.

For 1818 Instructors, we offer either on-campus or virtual research instruction:

    • In person on SLU's campus at Pius XII Memorial Library
    • Virtual library research instruction in your own high school classroom over Zoom
  • Library Research Instruction (In Person)

  • Library Research Instruction (Virtual)

  • This Library Research Instruction is offered through Zoom within the comfort of your own classroom. Please note that 1818 students will need their SLU login information (SLU Net ID and password) to access the databases in your classroom. If you require assistance in obtaining this information for your class, please email 1818@slu.edu.
