Our Program
The ULS Academic Support Program (ASP) is designed to help students who would benefit from additional help through one-on-one sessions, or sessions with one instructor and two students.
While every ULS teacher works to address individual needs, some students need additional assistance above and beyond what the classroom setting can provide.
Working in coordination with the classroom teacher, the ASP provides students with necessary support in areas of difficulty in their daily work. ULS teachers develop and share strategies and information to ensure each child’s success.
The ASP offers tailored instruction to address each child's learning style as well as his/her specific academic needs. Personalized lessons are created based on a variety of assessments that determine each child's strengths and weaknesses.
Support sessions fill up quickly. It is important to return the ASP enrollment form as soon as possible. Sessions not reserved in a timely manner will be released to other students on a first-come, first-served basis.
