  • This program requires a substantial commitment of your time. It is important to know before you submit this application that you can make this commitment.

    Program Dates
    The Delta Leadership Program features a five-day intensive curriculum completed at day-long seminars over the course of four months, plus a graduation, as follows:

    • Seminar 1: Jan. 9, 2026, in Sacramento
    • Seminar 2: Jan. 30, 2026,  in Stockton
    • Seminar 3: Feb. 20, 2026 in Rio Vista
    • Seminar 4: March 20, 2026 in Oakley
    • Seminar 5: April 17, 2026 in Clarksburg
    • Program Graduation at Delta Protection Commission meeting: 5 p.m. May 21, 2026 at a location in the Delta (exact date and location to be determined in November when Commission sets its 2026 meeting schedule)

    Additional Required Time
    Program participants will also be assigned a small amount of background reading and asked to complete a class project, which is estimated to require an additional 2 hours a month outside of class time.
