Release Request Form

• A Release is required when a student wishes to move to a new education provider without studying six (6) months with ASIA. 
• Students are advised to seek advice from the Department Home Affairs on the potential impact on their student visa due to this release.
• In case where the release has not been granted, students have the right to appeal through ASIA’s complaint and appeal process, in accordance with standards 10 (Complaints and appeals) of National Code 2018, within 20 working days. The release will not take effect until the internal appeals process is completed, unless the overseas student’s health or wellbeing, or the wellbeing of others, is likely to be at risk.

I understand that asking for a release from Astral Skills Institute of Australia (ASIA) may affect my student visa and I need to seek advice from the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) Affairs on the potential impact on my student visa. I also understand that I have to maintain my enrolment at ASIA while the application is being processed. I have been advised of all the relevant consequences of the outcome of my request. I understand that I have to provide the necessary documents requested by ASIA (including an offer letter from another provider). I am aware of my complaints and appeal rights. I acknowledge that I have read and understood all the requirements for this request. I acknowledge that I understand all the relevant policies and procedures about this change, including ASIA’s refund policy. I understand that I must pay my all dues as one of  the requirements for getting a release.  I understand that I must discuss the issue with Student Services before applying for the release. I understand that processing time for the application for the release is 10 working days. I declare that all the information I have provided above is accurate and true.
