University & College Grounds Team of the Year
A team award highlighting excellence in the presentation of sports surfaces and green space management at a university or college for a wide range of sports. This award recognises those teams who are dedicated to providing quality playing surfaces for all students at all levels. This award considers the quality achieved with the available resources.

Entry Criteria
Who can enter?
Teams can enter or be nominated by an employer, manager or third-party. The award is judged taking into account the 12 months prior to the award category application submission date.

Judging Criteria
The judges will be looking for evidence to support your entry in the following areas: 1) Evidence of number of sports and pitches played at venue. 2) Community use on pitches and/or external use eg. hire, concerts and major events etc (where applicable). 3) Evidence of optimising and/or maximising budget and resources available. 4) Entrants/Nominees must demonstrate strong technical ability. 5) Evidence of best use of machinery when tending to surface. 6) Evidence of continual development, learning and implementation for staff (including training and mental health & wellbeing).
