The 5 x 5 Art Exhibit & Fundraiser brings Airstream hobbyist art to our membership with a one-night exhibit, Sunday, at the Rock Springs Rally! The 5-inch x 5-inch (and 5-inch cube for 3D) artworks are generously donated by our talented artists and are sold as a fundraiser for our United Way charity. The event, as an extension of our welcome, food trucks, music and our judged art/hobby show, is free.
Both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artworks will be offered. Each piece will be sold for $20. Small art will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. This will exhibit fun art, feel-good art and surprise art! It will be small enough to be delivered to the Show or displayed in an Airstream easily. As a fundraiser, it will benefit the charity that has been designated by our club. $20.00 will get attendees a small square by an Airstream artist/hobbyist whose name they will learn only after they take possession of the art.
All we need are small pieces of art from our talented hobbyist/ artist membership, measuring 5 inches by 5 inches. Art will be donated and cover the media map: painting, drawing, print, sculpture, jewelry, clay, mosaic, glass, china, photography, fabric, quilting, handwork, wood and mixed media - you name it! The work comes from our registered membership in the United States and around the world. You peruse, make a selection, plunk down your cash or credit card and then you get to turn the work over and see who created and signed it.

A second display, not for sale, but for showing off our artists/hobbyists’ talent will be judged and ribboned. Enter them both!
Rules:
1. Artists must be a member registered at the Airstream International Rally.
2. Junior Member Exhibits - members must be under 17 years of age to enter.
3. Entrant may participate in as many different donated small 5"X 5" categories as they would like.
4. Entrant must decide in which category he/she wishes to enter.
5. Entrant must exhibit only his own work.
6. Fundraiser Artworks are limited to 5” by 5”, or if the artwork is 3 dimensional, no larger than a 5-inch cube. We will have strips of Velcro tape available for backs of small art to facilitate display.
7. Artworks entered for judging have no limit as to size.
8. Uploaded images of your work will be welcomed to generate interest in the event so the sooner you register the better. The number of entries is needed to plan display space.
9. Ribbons will be awarded in each category when being judged in regular show format.
10. Only those exhibitors registered in the categories of the current event will be permitted in the event room during delivery and set up.
11. The exhibitor is solely responsible for the set-up, protection, and safety of the exhibit. It must be removed and the area left clean at the end of the show.
12. The exhibitor's name and BRN must be displayed on the back of smaller fundraiser art. The name of the artist will not be revealed until the donated piece has been purchased.
13. Only those awards authorized by the International Rally Committee may be displayed. Awards made by the authorized judges are final.
14. Delivery and set up will be from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Judging will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. No exhibitors are allowed in the show area during this time.
15. Art/Hobby Events will be open to all members from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. All proceeds will be given to the charity that the Airstream Club has designated for the rally.
