Host Family Terms and Conditions

By signing below, the host family agrees to the following:

1. Accommodation: Provide a safe, clean, and private room for the student, equipped with
necessary furnishings such as a bed, desk, and storage space.
2. Meals: Offer nutritious meals, including breakfast, and dinner. Accommodate any dietary
restrictions as discussed prior to the student's arrival.
3. Support and Guidance: Assist the student in adapting to the new environment,
including cultural education, language practice, and local orientation.
4. House Rules: Clearly communicate house rules, including curfew, use of household
amenities, and expected behavior. Ensure these rules are fair and reasonable.
5. Transportation: Prvide transportation to and from school.
6. Emergency Protocols: Ensure the student is aware of emergency procedures and contact
information. Provide access to necessary medical care in case of illness or injury.
7. Cultural Exchange: Engage the student in family activities and cultural experiences to
foster mutual understanding and enrichment.
8. Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with the student, their
parents, and the program coordinators. Address any issues or concerns promptly and
constructively.
9. Privacy and Respect: Respect the student’s privacy and cultural differences. Encourage
an inclusive and supportive family environment.
10. Termination Clause: Understand that the hosting arrangement can be terminated by the
program coordinators if the conditions of this agreement are not met or if there are any
issues jeopardizing the student’s well-being.
