No matter where we come from, the color of our skin, or our immigration status we all deserve to thrive. We deserve a state where immigrants are equal, valued and loved. Where our families are together, where we are safe, where our voices are heard and where we feel we belong.
But right now, we are fighting to survive. Our communities are under attack. The stories being told about us are fueling destructive policies and leading to our rights being stripped away from us. A handful of politicians and the wealthy few are trying to silence our voices and take away our power.
We say enough is enough. It’s time for our communities to thrive, and when we come together we have the power to make that happen.
On September 7th, let’s fight for what we need here in Washington! We need childcare to be accessible to all, an unemployment system that protects ALL workers, investment in pivotal programs for our communities, legislative champions that will work with us to create a WA where we all thrive, and more. It’s time for us to stand united and demand action.
