LIABILITY WAIVER & AUTHORISATION

(Activity participation, personal injury and property damage)

By submitting an NZCHA membership application you have acknowledged that you have read, understood and accept this Liability Waiver and Authorisation.

This liability waiver and authorisation covers the period 1st August 2025 to 31st July 2026.

I/We understand that participation in an NZCHA or Affiliated Clubs activities involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to:

·      risk of physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent paralysis and/or death,

·      risk of property damage or loss

I/We affirm that I and those in my personal care voluntarily attend and or participate in the approved NZCHA and or Affiliated Club activities at entirely my/our own risk, negating the NZCHA or its Affiliate from any liability, should I or those in my care suffer from the afore mentioned risks.

I/We acknowledge that I/we am/are responsible for damage done by myself, or those in my care, or my/our animals to other members of the NZCHA or Affiliated club and or their property and animals.

By signing a current NZCHA membership form:

·      I/we understand that I/we and my/our successors/dependants/partner hereby hold harmless and relinquish entitlement to legal action against the NZCHA, its employees or agents or its Affiliated Club, howsoever caused or otherwise, and

·      I/we consent/authorise to the use of my name, photo/s plus information given by me to the association can be used for publication in NZCHA advertising, articles, chatter, website, social media platforms & printed material. I also consent to my name and contact details being given to sponsors and/or other members of the association upon request. This consent is given in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, unless withdrawn in writing.

·      I/we hereby agree to abide by the Constitution and the Rules and Regulations of the New Zealand Cutting Horse Association Incorporated.
Liability Waiver and Authorisation:

I/we have read, understand and accept the Liability Waiver and Authorisation form and agree to abide by the Rules (Constitution) and Bylaws (NZCHA Rule Book) of the NZCHA. (Available from the secretary or on the NZCHA website).
