1. Confirm Vessel ENC and ENP are updated. 2. Confirm All Officers have both generic and type-specific training. 3. Confirm ECDIS is working on the main power and Emergency power. (Vessel must have UPS, to ensure there is no blackout of ECDIS during a change of Power). 4. Version checking of ENCs 5. Confirm NO GO areas, Special Areas, arte makred as per the Requirements. 6. Confirm vessel Passage plans (Safety Depths, Safety Counter,deep counter and UKC are marked and Alarms are not bypassed). 7. Look Ahead Value must be posted as per company policy. 8. Line of Positions are manually marked, during the passage every hour, ensure this is complied.
