  • Applicants, for Full or Associate Membership, must be sponsored for membership by two full members of the CDA of good standing. They must know you well and be familiar with your body of work.

    Any possible conflicts of interest will be taken into consideration on an individual basis by the CDA Board (see notes below).

    Upon application approval, all new members will be expected to sign and adhere to the CDA Code of Conduct.

     

    REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A FULL MEMBER OF THE CDA

    Casting Directors should have a minimum of 3 years professional experience as a Casting Director. This is defined as having received casting credit without the title “associate” or “assistant”.


    REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER OF THE CDA

    Applicants with less than 3 years of professional experience as a Casting Director or those currently working as an Associate or Assistant CD may apply for associate membership.

    FEES

    FULL MEMBERSHIP
    * A one-time joining fee of £50 is due once your application has been approved
    * Annual Membership fees are £150 per year payable on invoice

    ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
    * A one-time joining fee of £50 is due once your application has been approved
    * Annual Membership fees are £100 per year payable on invoice

  • Associated Businesses
    In the interests of full transparency please disclose any associated businesses. Declaring other business interests will not necessarily discount your application to become a member of the CDA but we will need to carefully consider your application and may be in contact to ask further questions to ensure there is no conflict of interest. Failure to disclose any associated businesses that you own or manage may result in membership being revoked.
