• 2024-25 March-a-thon Donation Form

  • Thank you for supporting the Westwood High School Band program. The Westwood Area Band Booster (WABB) organization volunteers and raises funds to support the band programs at Westwood High School and its feeder middle schools, Canyon Vista and Grisham. Funds go toward travel expenses, music licensing, instrument purchase and repair, private lessons, clinicians, props, marching show drills, and more.

    March-a-thon is our fall donation drive fundraiser, which kicks off during marching season and funds our band program throughout the school year.

    The Westwood Area Band Boosters (WABB) is a volunteer-run, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible and support our fantastic band students. Our financial name for company matching donations and money transfers is WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS.

      Matching Gift programs can double or triple your financial donation to Westwood Area Band Boosters, and Volunteer Grant programs allow your employer to match your time donation monetarily. This means your generosity goes even further without costing you more! Hundreds of Central Texas and national employers offer Matching Gift and/or Volunteer Grant Programs. Your company could be one of them. See this link or contact your Human Resources office for further information.


      Participating in your company's Matching Gift or Volunteer Grant program is easy:

      1. Contact your Human Resources Office or Community Relations Department for eligibility requirements and to obtain appropriate forms. Most companies require you to donate through their donation portal (Benevity, YourCause, etc.)

      2. Fill out the employee portion of the form: Select WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS for your donation. In the comment or memo field, please enter the following: Westwood_{goal} so we can correctly attribute your donation to the correct student.  Finally, submit the donation for company approval.

      3. Once company approval has been received, complete the donation information below. Click the button under “Donation Confirmation” to upload a copy of the confirmed donation match receipt. This could be a screenshot from the portal website or a .pdf of a confirmation email.

    • BEFORE donating via Zelle, please confirm that WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS is an approved recipient from your bank. The donor and their bank must resolve any issues with Zelle; WABB cannot resolve donor-side issues.

      Please complete your pledged {amountOf} donation via Zelle direct money transfer using the QR code or the email address fundraising@westwoodband.org.

      Enter the MEMO line of your donation with the following (exactly as shown): Westwood_{goal}_{donorName} so that your donation is attributed correctly.

      When you click Submit below, your pledged donation of {amountOf} for {goal} will be recorded, but your donation will not be complete until you get a positive confirmation from Zelle or your banking institution. 

      100% of Zelle donations go to our students without fees, but if you cannot resolve issues using Zelle, please consider making a credit card donation and paying the transaction fee so that all of your donation money still goes to our fantastic band students.
