I. Introduction
House of Iran is offering two scholarships in the amount of $2,500 beginning of winter semester of 2025. We are accepting applications from those who have an interest in the program. Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. All winners will be notified on or before the 15th of January 2025. If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

Applicants’ minimum requirements:

1. Must be a member of House of Iran

2. Must have an Iranian heritage

2. Must be a full-time student with good standing

3. Willing to do volunteer work for House of Iran at minimum of 25 hours for a one year period

4. Their applications must arrive before Dec 31st, 2024

5. House of Iran board members and their immediate family are not eligible for this scholarship.

6. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident

7. Minimum GPA of 3.2

VI. Volunteer work requirement
House of Iran requires a minimum of 25 hours of volunteering work on Saturdays and Sundays or during House of Iran events. The volunteer must physically be present at House of Iran or the selected event. The activities include greeting of the visitors, answering questions about House of Iran and Balboa Park, etc.*
