Furthermore, the signatures confirm that she has been selected in accordance with all rules and regulations of the local pageant she represents. In addition, all rules, regulations, guidelines, and requirements pertaining to the state competition have been reviewed with the contestant and she has a complete understanding of and agrees to all in order to represent her local fair/festival. All information provided for this competition are truthful and correct and are not a forgery. The undersigned realize that the breaching of this contract will forfeit all awards, and contestant shall return all award presented, including scholarship monies as property of the Virginia Association of Fairs. We release the Virginia Association of Fairs, the pageant, and its representatives harmless of all actions and hardships.

Jensen Hoover Impact Award - Application
How do you want to be remembered? It is a simple, but profound question. One $500 scholarship will be awarded to the contestant whose answer to this question is selected by a separate panel of judges. Three finalists will be selected, based on their application and TWO letters of recommendation, and announced on Friday evening. Letters of recommendation must be submitted directly to the pageant director at missvafqueens@gmail.com. A private interview will take place immediately following the announcement. Submissions may be in any form (i.e., essay, art, musical performance). If you wish to submit in a different format, please get in touch with Wendi Gruninger, Pageant Director, at missvafqueens@gmail.com.
