Client must arrive with clean and dry hair. Wet or greasy hair does not retain crochet method and must be washed and blow dried, resulting in an additional, minimum $50 fee. Additional washes with additional product will result in a $30 add on fee.
New clients are required to pay a non- refundable deposit of $50 that will count towards final balance upon booking.
Returning clients are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $25 that will count towards final balance upon booking.
Hourly rates start at $85 for straightforward work. Service provider reserves the right to declare a higher hourly due to more in depth projects, more product usage, working late hours, or squeeze-ins.
For services over $200, half deposit must be paid at beginning of service via cash, digital pay like Venmo, CashApp, Zele, PayPal, or card payment. Checks are not accepted.
Client may not leave to attain money post or mid service. Balance must be paid before leaving service or service provider may repossess hair or services.
I understand thay appointments are not secured until a deposit is paid. If deposit is not secured, service provider will not be in shop and reserves the right to service clients that have secured deposit.
I agree that due to safety and privacy concerns, guests are not allowed in suite during service unless parent or guardian. Case by case may be discussed before appointment time with service provider and approved by provider. Otherwise, guests will be asked to leave or wait in car. This is non negotiable and if not abided by, clients may be canceled from booking, asked to leave shop, or banned from shop.
I confirm that the shop and the specialist will not be responsible or liable if the result of the service is not as expected as it should be.
I understand committing to recommended hair care regimen and keeping up with the suggested follow-up maintenance visits is an important part of maintaining healthy hair and longer wear time. If I choose to not follow these commitments I assign fault to no one else but myself.
I am allowing the shop and the specialist to apply necessary organic products as part of the service in my hair treatment.
Rescheduling will be accepted 48 hours in advance or a no-show fee of $50 will be applied.
Any cancellation less than 48 hours in advance or a no-show will be charged a fee of $50.
Please be on time to your appointments. Late fees may apply after 10 minutes. After 15 mins you may be marked as a no-show (eligible for above no-show fee) and/or may need to reschedule your appointment for another day depending on the days work flow and availability.
Payments accepted either cash or Venmo. Cards are accepted but at a 3.5% surcharge.
I consent the shop to take photographs of the provided service.
I consent the shop in terms of sharing the photograph to social media for marketing campaigns, portfolio work, or testimonials.
I confirm that pets and children are not allowed in the work service area for safety reasons.
I understand that no weapons are allowed in shop and that any violence, verbal or physical, will be met with police engagement. Failure to pay will be met with a police report and/ or court action.
I understand there is no smoking in shop. If client chooses to take a break, the meter does not stop and smoking is only permitted in selected zones outside stated by city ordinance.
I understand there is no eating in shop unless cleared by service provider. If client chooses to take a lunch break, meal must be consumed in lounge / waiting room for sanitary conditions and meter does not stop.
I understand locs and braiding fall under, "Natural Hair Care", and thus, Locticians are not qualified to offer any other hair care, products, services, or advice outside of their specified scope of practice.
I understand that all hair purchases have a non-refundable deposit. If client is non responsive, the specialist reserves the right to keep the deposit for said hair and labor included, or sell the product.
I understand that all products, implements and stations are properly cleansed & disinfected by following the California stateboard of barbering and cosmetology requirements.
Upon booking, I understand that when I input card information I am authorizing that card to be used for all booking charges & fees.
