Podcast Consent and Media Usage Agreement

Hello and thank you for agreeing to participate in my exciting project. I'm not big on complicated jargon and legalese, but do want to ensure that there's no confusion (now or later) about what we're all doing here. So, in as few words as possible, here's my understanding of our agreement. Please read through and, if you're satisfied it's correct, complete your details, sign and click 'submit'.

Here's the legal bit...

I hereby grant to Petro du Pisani her subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, successors, and assigns, the right and permission to record, use, publish, stream live, or otherwise distribute any audio or video interview with me as part of her project. Such right and permission includes, but is not limited to, my name, recorded voice and video, photograph or likeness, biographical information, handouts or any material based upon or derived therefrom.

I may use any final published programme, production, insert, trailer or teaser derived from my recordings for my own marketing and promotion in emails, blogs, websites, radio and/or interviews and in other podcasts without seeking additional consent from Petro du Pisani.

I understand that Petro du Pisani may, at her discretion, produce presentations or publications based in whole or in part upon my interviews (or any portions thereof) and/or a video or audio recordings and/or photographs of said interviews, and that such media or transcripts may appear in print, online, or in any manner or media.

I have no right of approval, no claim for compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based upon invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) arising out of or in connection with, any use, alteration, or use in any composite form hereunder.

I hereby warrant and represent that I have the right to enter into this agreement and to grant the rights granted to Petro du Pisani herein. I agree that during the course of any interviews I have not violated the rights of any third parties, including but not limited to copyrights, rights of privacy, trade secrets, and non-disclosure agreements, and that in the event of any breach of any of these warranties, that I will defend and hold Petro du Pisani harmless against any such claims. In the event of any dispute between myself and Petro du Pisani, arising from this agreement, I bind myself to resolving the difference(s) through arbitration between our respective attorneys.

This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
