Supporting Youth Arts

The Brisbane Acting and Drama Young Performers Scholarship Program is established to support and encourage passion-driven students to pursue their endeavours with us and further their arts education.

The scholarship aims to alleviate financial burdens and encourage performance excellence among eligible candidates.

A range of scholarships are available to encourage students to participate in our youth arts by enrolling in our specialised classes.

To apply, the candidate must record a self-tape addressing the required criteria.

Scholarships are open to youth candidates from 4 to 25 years in all subject areas and group classes.

Scholarships cover tuition (in part) only.

Our studio provides group classes and private tuition in specialist drama subjects and industry level acting training.

Application Criteria

Please make sure you have followed the below steps.
Self-Tape Criteria

Each candidate (student) must record a self-tape.

On camera, address the following:
- Introduce yourself by stating your full NAME and Date of Birth
- Tell us a little about yourself! What’s unique about you?
- Tell us WHY you love the performing arts and what would make you the best candidate for a scholarship
- Why do you want to learn with our studio?
- What are your goals as a performer?
You're welcome to share a funny story if you wish and as creative as you like with your delivery!
No formalities required, just be authentic!
Portrait or landscape videos accepted

No professional filming required

NOTE: Younger performers may elect to have someone ask them questions off camera or refer to a prompt sheet – remember, we’re looking for authenticity, (not memorised performances).
