    All lay ministers serving in the Diocese of Missouri are required to be licensed by the bishop. As of January 2025, these licenses will now last for 3 years instead of 1 year, so if you submitted in 2025 your licenses are still valid. A reminder will be sent to your parish when the 3 year period is up. Each parish should send the names of their new lay ministers to the bishop's office no later than March 1, 2026. These certifications will be good until March 1, 2029. Please fill out this form and click "submit."

    This is to certify that, as required in the Guidelines for Licensed Ministries in the Diocese of Missouri, the Vestry, Bishop's Committee, or other governing body, and resident clergy, if any, find each individual listed below to be an upstanding example of Christian living, is believed to have a call to said ministry, and is demonstrating competency for said ministy.
