LAJ is driven by the lived experiences of our founders and Board of Directors, who collectively spent 93 years in prison for crimes they did not commit. Guided by our principle of "nothing about us without us," LAJ is focused on collecting comprehensive information and data on the experiences and needs of our community with the goal of building an ecosystem of holistic support for the wrongfully convicted and their loved ones. This survey is the first of its scale and depth, aiming to redefine freedom as thriving, not merely surviving. Help us tell OUR story in OUR way!
