Hello, we are looking for a basketball fanatic who also watches a variety of basketball YouTube channels (specifically our channel Lockdown K, JimmyHighRoller, Baseball Doesn't Exist) and has experience or interest in Mini Documentaries/Documentaries on YouTube. We are seeking a long-form video editor to join our team who can masterfully tell stories through video editing for our YouTube channel focused on NBA content. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your passion for basketball with your talent for storytelling, creating content that resonates with viewers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

- Craft engaging, persuasive, documentary-type videos (50 minutes to 1 hour) once a month, ensuring they are engaging and enjoyable to our audience.

- Demonstrate expertise in sourcing clips, creating motion graphics and animations.

- Be skilled in sound design, particularly in selecting appropriate music.

- Possess a creative mindset with willingness to experiment and try new editing techniques.

- Be a basketball fan with understanding of the sport's nuances.
Meet deadlines consistently and provide high-quality edits with minimal revisions.

- Utilize strong research skills and ability to understand and incorporate basketball data and stats.

- Be highly creative, with a talent for incorporating humor and fresh perspectives.

- Be self-driven, with a commitment to accuracy and punctuality.
Have fluency in English (native proficiency preferred).

- Work well both independently and collaboratively as part of the Lockdown K team.

- Collaborate with our main video editors to understand their needs and create time-saving visual elements.
